Galiceno

Galiceno The Galiceno is a breed descended originally from the northwestern province of Galicia, Spain and later was brought to Mexico by Spanish explorers. Starting in the 1950s, The Galiceno Pony began to spread northward into the United States from Mexico. This breed is considered a perfect transition horse for younger riders making the change from ponies to horses.

Gelderlander

Gelderlander The Gelderlander originated from the Dutch Province of Gelderland. This breed is a result of widespread crossbreeding between old local breeds, notably the Friesian, and numerous imported breeds like the Thoroughbred, Hackney, Oldenburg, East Friesian, and Anglo-Norman. Initially, the Gelderlander was used under harness and for light agricultural work. Today, they are utilized for recreational riding, show jumping and dressage.

Gypsy Vanner

Gypsy Vanner The Gypsy Vanner was bred a century ago in England, and it was used for pulling Gypsy caravans. It carries the genes of Freisian, Clydesdale, Shire and Dale breeds. Gypsy Vanners stand about 14 to 15 hands tall, and they feature compact and muscular bodies. They occur in all sorts of pinto colors, including Piebald and Skewbald. They have a docile and moderate disposition, and they are good in driving and dressage.
